United African Organization is a dynamic coalition of African community-based organizations that promotes social and economic justice, civic participation, and empowerment of African immigrants and refugees in Illinois.

UNAA was founded in 1988. It is a community based organization for Ugandans and friends of Uganda in North America. Its core emphasis is to stimulate and encourage nationwide acquaintance and fellowship among members. Networkorking, increasing member skills and qualifications as a leader by volunteering to make a difference.
